This listing is for one skein of BEAUT to make the amazing Tetsubou Hat designed by Kirsten Johnstone. "One of the coolest hat patterns out there." and "Perfect for a pony tail!" and "Gets compliments everytime I wear it." say ravelry user reviews.
BEAUT is a 100% merino single and has the bounce and body to hold the shape of this design. Choose your colour and purchase your yarn here (I have loaded colourway recommendations for this pattern), then pop over to the pattern page HERE and purchase/download this wonderful pattern.
The hat is provisionally cast on and knit in Stocking/Stockinette Stitch flat (back and forth) from the brim to form two folded hems. The nape shaping is formed with increasing stitches. The hat is then joined and worked circularly through the crown shaping. The I-cord drawstring is worked separately and threaded through the knitted hat.
Slip markers as they are encountered.

Poetic, rich colour on sumptuous non-superwash New Zealand yarns: Merino, Corriedale, Merino-Cross, Romney, from the grower to the mill to the dyer - connect your final object back to it’s origin & incorporate the story of the yarn into your own. This is our definition of luxury.
Yarn is the best. It makes the stores who sell it, and the people who buy it happy. It’s sustainable, and supports hard working people in smaller communities trying to slow things down while the world speeds up. All around it’s an amazing, natural product.
Prosper Yarn is small, local, ethical, and socially minded. We use New Zealand grown and milled yarn bases. We do not support mulesing. We use as little fresh water as possible, and fully exhaust our locally mixed professional acid dyes.
Prosper does not use Super Wash yarn bases.
