SQUISHY YUMMY BEAUTIFUL
LOCAL NEW ZEALAND YARNS
HAND DYED
This listing is for two skeins of CHOICE to make this modern, minimally elegant shawl by Meg Gadsbey.
CHOICE is a 70/30 Merino/Silk - a winning ration of bounce and squish to drape and shine. This shawl will benefit from 70% merino as too much drape will soften the geometry. Choose your colour and purchase your yarn here (I have loaded colourway recommendations for this pattern), then pop over to the pattern page HERE and purchase/download this wonderful pattern.
Sometimes the most simple of stitches results in something elegant, versatile, and the perfect way to show off your favourite yarn. Slipway is a reversible triangular shawl worked side-to-side with i-cord edges in a soft and sleek silk merino fingering weight yarn. The simple, yet elegant, fabric of the shawl is created by alternating stocking stitch and reverse stocking stitch sections.
You may play yardage chicken and get away with using one skein! The pattern calls for 400m. Choice has approximately 380m. This pattern can also be done in the Merino Singles yarn BEAUT - that has an apx length of 400m.
Poetic, rich colour on sumptuous non-superwash New Zealand yarns: Merino, Corriedale, Merino-Cross, Romney, from the grower to the mill to the dyer - connect your final object back to it’s origin & incorporate the story of the yarn into your own. This is our definition of luxury.

Yarn is the best. It makes the stores who sell it, and the people who buy it happy. It’s sustainable, and supports hard working people in smaller communities trying to slow things down while the world speeds up. All around it’s an amazing, natural product.
Prosper Yarn is small, local, ethical, and socially minded. We use New Zealand grown and milled yarn bases. We do not support mulesing. We use as little fresh water as possible, and fully exhaust our locally mixed professional acid dyes.
Prosper does not use Super Wash yarn bases.
