This listing is for one skein of CHOCKA to make the Devil's Peak hat designed by Hanging Rock Roost. Devil's Peak has versatile sizing from child to adult and is unisex - it's timeless style, and interesting motif make it a go to hat for the entire family.
CHOCKA is a 80/20 Corriedale/Silk DK that has the bounce and body to hold the shape of this design, while the silk lends sheen. Choose your colour and purchase your yarn here (I have loaded colourway recommendations for this pattern), then pop over to the pattern page HERE and purchase/download this wonderful pattern. I would recommend tonals (with the addition of Dixie Chick as it has a lot of cream and light colours that should not overcome the delicate patterning) to best highlight this pattern.
Devil's Peak Beanie is worked from the bottom up, beginning with a simple two by two rib and working towards the top with four rows of double moss stitch zig-zags. Once those zig-zag peaks are formed you simply start your crown decreases, then bind off and you’re done! It’s a very quick and simple, toasty warm hat.

Poetic, rich colour on sumptuous non-superwash New Zealand yarns: Merino, Corriedale, Merino-Cross, Romney, from the grower to the mill to the dyer - connect your final object back to it’s origin & incorporate the story of the yarn into your own. This is our definition of luxury.
Yarn is the best. It makes the stores who sell it, and the people who buy it happy. It’s sustainable, and supports hard working people in smaller communities trying to slow things down while the world speeds up. All around it’s an amazing, natural product.
Prosper Yarn is small, local, ethical, and socially minded. We use New Zealand grown and milled yarn bases. We do not support mulesing. We use as little fresh water as possible, and fully exhaust our locally mixed professional acid dyes.
Prosper does not use Super Wash yarn bases.
